Our blinds are manufactured with the highest of standards, materials and care. We guarantee
that providing the blind has not been subject to misuse or negligence, we will repair or replace
any defective part without charge.

Warranty Conditions
1. Wear and tear affecting the product (eg fabric fraying, ripping, shrinking or fading during
use.)
2. Wilful Damage, misuse/abuse
3. Your failure to operate the blind in accordance with the installation and operating
instructions
4. Any alterations carried out
5. Repairs or installations carried out by someone who is not one of our authorised
members of the team.
6. If Motorised blinds need to be charged, batteries changed or limits reset there is a
minimum call out service charge of €50.
7. Failure to follow measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance instructions
8. In general day to day use it is possible that a Child Safety device may activate, in this
event, we do offer tutorials on how to reconnect it. However, if there is a requirement for
us to call out, there is a minimum charge of €50.
Disclaimers:
Blackout Blinds and linings
Please note that none of our blinds, including blackout blinds, provide total blackout, as there
will always be light-bleed coming into the room around the sides, top and bottom of the blinds.
This is NOT covered under your warranty, therefore we are not liable for any complaints made in
regards to light-bleed occurring from these blinds.
Wooden/Fauxwood Venetian Blinds
The slats in Wooden/Fauxwood Venetian Blinds can sometimes warp due to sun and moisture conditions that the blinds are exposed to. This is a natural feature of wooden/fauxwood blinds and is NOT covered by the warranty. Faux Wood is a high performance PVC which we would recommend in areas of high humidity such as bathrooms and utility rooms. In terms of the length of a Wood/Fauxwood Venetian Blind, there is tolerance between -/+ 30mm and -/+ 40mm depending on the slat width (35mm or 50mm)
Mains powered blinds
We will install the blind and have the blinds ready to be connected to the mains. However, we do not undertake any electrical work and advise you to seek aid from a qualified electrician.
Fitting or Delivery Terms and Conditions
Any delivery or supply date or time specified by your sales advisor or our office administrator is
an estimate only, and we will not be liable to you for any loss/delays sustained if we fail to meet
that time scale because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We do not offer
discounts or compensations in this event.
The price for the goods and services to be supplied is stated on the Order Confirmation. All
prices are inclusive of the cost of delivery and VAT.
A deposit (which depending upon order value may be up to 100% of the agreed price) shall be
payable by agreeing to order our products or on confirming your acceptance of the order. In the
event that cleared funds are not received for the deposit payment, we may request full payment
over the phone or by cash on delivery.
Fitting
In order to ensure a safe working environment for our fitters it is a condition of these terms that
the area in which the works are to be carried out is cleared of pets, plants, furniture, breakable
items and household items. The windows prior to installation should be cleared of any existing
Blinds or Curtains including fixings. We require 24 hours notice of a cancelled installation
appointment otherwise we reserve the right to charge you for the costs of the appointment.
We will remove all of our packaging/boxes. However, we do not remove old blinds or curtains.
We will not be liable for existing damage if we need to remove existing brackets or blinds
Making sure your measurements are accurate.
If we are making the product to measurements you have given us you are responsible for
ensuring that these measurements are correct. You can find information and tips on how to
measure on our website. We will provide you with a copy of your order, it is up to you to check
the order and for you to understand the terminology used when measuring. We are not
responsible for any mismeasurements that may arise from this. If any mismeasurements arise
on your behalf there will be a minimum charge of €15.
Tolerance level: all our products are made with a tolerance of between +/-3cm for curtains and
+/-5mm for blinds and will not be considered faulty or misdescribed for the purposes of these
terms and conditions if they fall within these parameters.
Child Safety
We place paramount importance on child safety in our homes. Aiming to ensure the potential
hazards posed by unrestrained cords and chains are understood and eliminated.
Integral to what we do our child safety campaign is driven by innovation development testing.
In line with legislation EN13120 we have carefully considered each blind on an individual basis,
ensuring that child safety is an essential feature.
Website Terms and Conditions:
The images of the products on our website or POS are for illustrative purposes only. Although
we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a
device’s display of the colours or the printed pictures in our brochure accurately reflects the
colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images
.
Delay
If your fitting date is put on hold because of a problem outside our control we will contact you as
soon as we know and arrange another fitting date. We are not liable for delays caused beyond
our reasonable control. We will do our utmost to cause as little disruption to your schedule as
possible.
Payments
Orders for blinds cannot be processed until a deposit of at least 30% (depending on product)
has been received.
Balance of card payments is made 24 hours prior to installation. Cash payments are accepted
COD. We only accept back payment from registered and we do not accept cheques in any form.
Complaints about service, installation and products.
Any complaints that may arise due to our service, installation, our product or shortages in orders
must be reported via email to admin@fashionblinds.ie, our complaints department will be in
contact between 24 to 48 hours. We aim to have all complaints resolved within 5-10 working
days. Any complaints must be flagged within the first 48 hours of the installation. We cannot
accept complaints over the phone. We may also require photographic evidence to help us to
resolve the matter in a timely manner
